“Before I felt ashamed of my body particularly my belly and arms, I was always wearing baggy jumpers to hid my weight sins. My size 16 clothes were tight but fitting. I had a bit of confidence in myself as I had already lost a good bit of weight but I still felt frumpy. Now I have so much more confidence in myself, I don’t mind wearing a t-shirt around. I have even started wearing dresses more often. I am so much happier when I look in the mirror. The combination of exercise and good food has changed my body beyond my expectations I loved the food, I constantly raved to anyone who would listen. It was a complete shock to get such good food. I can’t wait to get your cookbook so I can add to the recipe base. I enjoyed everything that was in the food plans (although at times I was worried by the visual aspect during preparation) it was much easier than I anticipated. I assumed I was going to be really hungry during the fasting times but I never was. It really thought me the difference between head hunger and proper hunger I lost 13.64lbs so almost a stone!! More importantly I now have a waist which I didn’t have before, I was a size 16 before and now I can wear a size 12-14. I am full of confidence and love all the compliments I get. I had massive inch loss on the recorded measurements but I have noticed amazing results in my legs and arms also, I’m sorry I never measured them at the start. “Before I was always tired and eating lots of junk my clothes were very tight around my middle. Now I have lots more energy and not eating lots of junk. I learned a lot about my body and how to eat properly. What I enjoyed most was the support from everyone and the food. The first one was a bit daunting but was a great relief to finish the first day as its goes against the grain but now its fine and I’m continuing to eat between 12/8pm no trouble at all. I went from 9st 8 to 9st 2 (lost nearly half a stone) but look smaller as a lot more toned also eating way less food and lots of energy its great. Thought you were great at motivation. “I’m always putting things on the long finger – Everything – I’m always late – always only a few minutes but I’m never on time. And it took a Personnel Trainer to help me realise this. Before Joining the Expect Success Fitness Team – I never planned / and never lived each day with “I must get this done” attitude (not a lazy mentality) just I was using Ever Ready batteries instead of Duracell and got through the day at a relaxed pace – If I didn’t get to the gym I wasn’t bothered.

In my younger years I used to do a lot of running not just in the gym but out on the roads – but injury put a stop to that. And later in life when heading to the gym before Expect Success Fitness it was straight to a treadmill or the cross trainer an hour of solid cardio, flaking it at high levels and top speeds thinking I was great. I would never have used weights as I just felt I would look like a fool or I wouldn’t be able to do/use them right. And after all this cardio = zero results / I would be in agony afterwards barely able to climb the stairs – zero energy and was still the same weight constantly.

And as for diet – well I broke my parents hearts – I don’t do Dairy / and unless the veg is green or a carrot I aint eating it. His recipe booklet that he gives you has some great tips and new foods, for me, that I would never have tried before.
With John Mulry’s Expect Success Fitness – (& I know some people read these and go “yeah – he’s paid them to say that”) it really does work. What struck me first of all by just reading his website, it read to me like a guy who didn’t do bullshit – which is what I needed. My first goal (and u have to have a goal) was just to lose some weight before I went on a sun holiday. In just over 5 weeks I lost 15 pounds – with Johns help & commitment. My eyes were opened to new exercises that you don’t even need a gym for – it can all be done at home. I use weights now (with John & on my own in the gym) and from someone who couldn’t do 1 Pushup a few weeks ago I can now do full sets. I had clothes at home with tags on them for months that now fit me / I’ve never had so much energy / and I make sure I get to the gym now at all times.

I haven’t been on a treadmill or a cross trainer sense starting with Expect Success Fitness & never will again – waste of time.

One of the great things about John after I came back from Holidays – post holiday blues set in big time, but John contacted me got me back in to his gym and got be back on track before I completely derailed myself – not everyone needs that extra push, but I did for sure. He explains all exercises in detail so your informed u know what your doing and when your on your own in your gym you can attack your gym session with confidence. New goals and targets are set and I can’t wait to see how far I can push myself and see some more great results…..

“Life before John and Expect Success Fitness was far more difficult day to day. Only a short while ago I was, looking back, over weight. I felt less confident and my cloths were not fitting correctly. I was reliant on my sugar rushes through out the day, living on Lucozade maybe having two bottles a day to get me through the day. I now live a happy world with out my 5:00 Lucozade rush!!

Things have been brilliant, I can’t describe how much better I feel, look and generally find myself far happier thanks to my LTS. My old cloths, from just eight weeks ago, are now far too big for me. I have had to start purchase an entire new wardrobe. Loving getting so many compliments which also encourages me to keep on the right track. Although now due to Expect Success Fitness I am living a healthier and more energetic life. My exercises are a great form of energy… sometimes I even look forward to Burpies!!!

Before I had way less energy. Reliant on energy drinks like Lucozade, coffee, sugar, coffee with sugar, sugar always used to get me through the day. Less energy in the evening, less energy in the morning, I have energy all day now.

For start I wanted to lose weight. I wanted to have more energy for my work and life balance that we mentioned earlier. Sometimes I’d find after a days’ work I would be too wrecked to move so they were the two big things. I think about 4 weeks in, 3 or 4 weeks in, I certainly lost weight. I’ve gotten really good compliments.

Yes, well some of the girls have come in often, especially the last two or three days and complimented me, and again the staff and friends, and I’m going to a wedding in the next few weeks, and the suit that I bought brand new last November for the JCI Awards doesn’t fit me anymore. So I’m getting a tailor to bring it back but it may not even fit anymore because I’ve lost so much weight.

The workouts are enjoyable.  When I go in like this morning’s workout, I was feeling really tired, woke up early, did a bit of work that I needed to do and I was just wrecked. I didn’t think I’d be able to do any. And since I’ve finished the workout I have way more energy for the day ahead which is fantastic.

I would probably say definitely to really consider it because it will change a lot of things.  You have to work out; you can’t just go along and go yeah, I’ll be fine.  You really need to put in the work and do stick to what John tell you.  Which you’ll definitely feel the rewards after a couple of weeks.  Really.

“HI John, I would first of all just like to thank you so much for helping me break through the plateau and to again start seeing results from a weight loss point of view.

Life before the Expect Fitness 21 Day Program basically consisted of my doing exercise 3-4 times a week and watching what I ate but then I would not be seeing any real results and I would get frustrated and end up pigging out on bread ( which is my Achilles heel), and of course adding a few pounds of fat and even greater amount of guilt and self hatred.

Having sat down and spoke with you John and chatting about where I was at and where it was I wanted to be, you tailored a 21 day program to suit me. I must admit I was putting off doing the program as I had some social events planned and I didn’t want to miss out on those because I was not able to go out for dinner and have a glass of wine as in the past I would have gone for long periods without a breaking a diet or be completely limited to what passed my lips!

But with John’s help and my personally tailored 21 day program I was able to work the program so that my social outings where on my treat days and the even better part was that I still lost weight!!!!!!!!! Yes the treat days and no added pounds was a VERY welcome newcomer to my battle with weight loss.

Having finished the program and losing 11lbs on the program but 14lbs in total now!!!!! What can I say other than I am DELIGHTED and I now fit into clothes that have been looking out at me from my wardrobe for quite some time that ordinarily have come up only to my knees! So economic benefit as well as vanity!

I didn’t have any cravings for anything other than healthy food stuff and was dreaming of chicken stir fry for my treat day, which I had an totally enjoyed. After the first three days I found the program easier and never felt starved in any way. I have to say as diet plans go this is great!

Yes you have to be disciplined for 6 days but the treat day helps as you see the light at the end of the tunnel and you don’t feel hard done by because you have the treat day to look forward to. Its a great program for long term goals as if you continue with the 6 day discipline and one day treat and of course the regular exercise you will have all that you want and more from your body!

As for John, well what can I say? He was great I plagued him with email after email with questions and he always got back to me very quickly and gave great advise and encouragement throughout. The regular emails and facebook feeds also helped keep you focused on your target and the little mantra’s where very helpful on days where you might be fit to throw in the towel. Over all though, it was a great kick start to achieving the weight loss goals I have now set myself. Thanks again John….lucky for the girl who gets ya!!!!!

“After I told John my story and told him that I was happy with my weight gain, however, I was very unfit and I wanted to train again but not to lose anymore weight. He came up with a programme for me and due to financial reasons, I decided to not join a gym but to start running instead. I slowly started back in Feb 2012 and also changed my diet a little for healthier options as John suggested and I have never looked back.

I feel very fit, energised, and healthy!! I feel like I could run the marathon! I roped a friend of mine to join me 3 times a week and she loves it. I continue to run every second day for 40-45 mins and it’s a great feeling.

“I’ve Loads Of Energy”

I’d go out at the weekends and probably be hungover not able to do anything for 2/3 days. I work evenings so when I would finish work I’d usually end up staying up late eating really bad food – pizzas, biscuits anything really and some nights id probably have few beers too… Most days I’d sleep in until 1pm/2pm or other days I would wake up round 11 but I would be tired again by 1 and I would need to have to have a power nap before work. My mood was affected because after months of this I got depressed, I didn’t want to move out of bed or go out at the weekends. It was bad but I reached a point where I said enough is enough so I contacted John for some help to get me out of this rut I was in.

I guess I didn’t Know what to expect. I didn’t Know if I was going to like it or I didn’t know if I was going to keep it up all I knew is things had to change in my life and no better place to start than with John and Expect Success Fitness.
